With the introduction of the Europrotocol, Kazakhstanis will be able to settle insurance cases in road accidents in a simplified procedure, without the involvement of the police and the court, using a mobile application. However, this requires fulfillment of a number of conditions: there should be no victims in the accident, only two cars should be involved, the damage should concern only the cars involved in the accident, the damage should not exceed the maximum amount of the insurance payment, and both parties should agree to the execution of the accident on Europrotocol without calling the police.
This innovation will reduce the time needed to process insurance claims and reduce stress for drivers associated with the need to contact various authorities in the event of a road accident.
In accordance with the Europrotocol for insurance claims in road traffic accidents (RTAs) in Kazakhstan, the insurance payout limit is set at 100 monthly calculation indices (MCI). For 2023 this amounts to 345,000 tenge, and according to the draft for 2024 - 369,200 tenge
