John is a commercial and financial manager with extensive experience in strategic planning, contract management, finance and business development.
John is originally from New York City, where he graduated from Brooklyn College and started his career in banking. He later attained an Executive MBA from the University of Virginia (Darden School of Business), one of the 50 best universities in the United States and top 5% of the best higher education institutions in the world.
He arrived in Kazakhstan in 1994 with US AID advising on Banking Reform and Capital Markets Development, he has since worked in management positions in Kazakhstan in industry including Oil & Gas, Mining, EPC, Hospitality and others.
